Year 1 Week 37: Speaking my thoughts
"I think a lot.
I'm a thinker like my father, and my mother. Thoughts swirl around in my head like fruit being mixed together in a blender.
I don't like to speak much, because learning new things is more interesting. But mommy seems anxious that I start forming some words.
So this week I have been throwing words out randomly: up, bird, whale, ball, boots, out.
I like to watch mommy's reaction when I say the words, but I keep hearing daddy tell her that she is imagining me saying the words correctly.
Hey! I do know what a whale looks like - mommy shows me a picture of a blue whale every day and says 'wh-ale' very clearly.
But mommy, I am getting bored with hearing about the whale everyday. Change the picture and the words soon, okay?
Signing off,
Antonio"
