Week 26 (66): Summary
Little Antonio is no longer THAT little.
During a routine check up at the paediatrician in the previous week, he measured 62cm and weighed 10.9kg. That is quite a bundle for a baby that turns six-months tomorrow.
So today we went out and made new purchases that are quite necessary for Antonio's growth - a stroller and a high chair for feeding. Pictures will come in a separate post.
Additionally, I have begun slowly weaning him since Wednesday October 15. So far, he has tried brown rice cereal, white rice cereal, pureed apple & pear, and Farley's rusk.
So far, it seems that while he enjoys being brought around in the stroller, Antonio does not like being strapped in to the high chair at all.
At the same time, Antonio seems to have regressed on his night weaning, waking as often as every hour for a feed even if each feed last for about 15 to 20 minutes, as compared to the four to five hour intervals we had established up to even a week ago.
I noticed that each time this happens, his pillow is soaked through with perspiration, and it is only his pillow. So we have tried switching on the air conditioner to circulate air in the room in a bid increase his comfort level. Updates on this will come next week.
Our little one is growing, and his milestones are coming very quickly!
